The Welterweight Wars in Valley Forge
A Live Professional Boxing event titled "The Welterweight Wars" featuring five welterweight bouts including a Welterweight Championship Main Event is being held by Lion Heart Boxing Productions on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Valley Forge, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In the Main Event, North American Boxing Council (NABC) Welterweight Champion and Welterweight contender Antonio Mesquita (33-0, 27 knockouts) will defend his title against an opponent to be announced. Also on the card are Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Welterweight Contender Troy Browning (17-0) in his first comeback fight, former Welterweight champion Mamadou Thiam (42-6), Philadelphia knockout sensation up and coming megastar, Tyrone "Young Gun" Brunson (13-0, 13 knockouts) and other local fighters. "The Welterweight Wars" is the introductory and kickoff of event of Valley Forge's version of the Thursday Night Fights series--Thursday Night Fights at the Valley Forge Convention Center.
