DRAM Exec Says He Didn't Fix Prices
Federal prosecutors got their chance Thursday to directly challenge the only defendant to go before a jury in a vast DRAM price-fixing prosecution: Hynix Semiconductor executive Gary Swanson, who said he didn't talk about specific prices with his counterpart at Micron Technology. Swanson's trial stems from a probe of price fixing for dynamic random access memory chips that has netted $731 million in fines and more than a dozen guilty pleas from executives at other well-known companies.
