Heller Restores Lost 2007 Bonuses and Offers Development Time for First-Years
On Friday, Heller Ehrman gave associates two reasons to celebrate: more money, and a new program that gives first-years more enriching work, without making clients pay for it. The firm has reinstated the part of the 2007 bonus that was sacrificed to increase first-year salary to $160,000. Heller also unveiled a new initiative allowing associates to be involved in strategy sessions, negotiations, depositions and various trial activities that they wouldn't bill for and normally wouldn't have time to attend.
