Law firms talk the talk about "going green," but Nixon Peabody wanted action. So last November, the firm named Carolyn Kaplan, a counsel in the firm's Boston office, as chief sustainability officer. Kaplan looks for ways to make the firm's own operations more environmentally friendly.
