Former Partners Sued for Post-Brobeck Profits
The trustee in the bankruptcy case of the defunct Brobeck firm is suing 10 ex-partners, and the firms they've joined, for work they took with them after Brobeck dissolved. Orrick and four partners at the firm are the defendants in one suit; the other names Dorsey & Whitney and six of its partners. The trustee is asking that the firms and ex-Brobeck partners be ordered to give an accounting of all revenue and expenses related to unfinished work done as the result of opportunities that originated at Brobeck.
